OUTMUSIC AWARDS - LAS VEGAS PRODUCTION
The 8th Outmusic Awards was produced in Las Vegas, Nevada in the Planet Hollywood Theater (PH LIVE). It was the first year the production of the OMAs hit the west coast of the United States. The LGBTQ community of Las Vegas welcomed and supported the LGBT Academy of Recording Arts (LARA) in its production of the Outmusic Awards.
The Outmusic Awards was produced in partnership with the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) with major financial sponsorship. SHARE Nightclub partnerd with the Outmusic Awards to produce and host all of the ancillary events leading up to the main event. Q Vegas Magazine was the official media sponsor of the 8th Outmusic Awards.
LARA received support form various members of the community especially the Las Vegas Pride organiztion and leaders in the commuity like Nevada Senator Dr. Pat Spearman and Nevada State Assemblyman James Healey.
